Free ‘Tax for Small Business Workshop’

Tax for Small Business is a free workshop developed for small businesses.
It will provide you with an overview of the taxation and superannuation obligations associated with starting and operating your small business.

The workshop will look at subjects like
·         different business structures
·         registering your business
·         goods and services tax
·         income tax and claiming deductions
·         record keeping
·         how to prepare and lodge your activity statements

The workshop also covers employer obligations, such as pay as you go withholding and superannuation, if you have or are intending to employ people.
