Dr Karie is an accomplished cybersecurity and forensics professional with more than ten years of academic teaching and research. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Cybersecurity and Forensics at Curtin University. He uses his cybersecurity and forensics skills and knowledge to contribute to the technological advances happening in different industries. He believes that security is not only a fundamental part of our daily life but also key to the future of our global digital economy. His research interests are in cloud forensics, critical infrastructure security, cybersecurity, digital forensics, incident handling and intrusion detection, IoT forensics, and mobile forensics.
