About the Presenter, Dr Nickson M Karie

Dr. Nickson M. Karie is a cybersecurity consultant, a distinguished senior lecturer in cybersecurity and a seasoned digital forensic professional with a career spanning over 15 years, seamlessly blending academic and industry expertise. He is also the founder of “NMCYBER”, a business entity specialising in Cybersecurity Awareness and Training for small businesses. Dr Nickson holds a PhD in Computer Science with a specialisation in digital forensics from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Currently, he is a senior lecturer at Curtin University. His contributions to academic research, including numerous scientific papers and book chapters, establish him as an authority in cybersecurity.
