BPW Business Incubator Project will provide ‘ONLINE’ training and mentoring to develop the business skills and business growth potential of women in homebased, micro small businesses. Opportunities also exist for you to register your interest in the Global Platform for Action on Sourcing from Women Vendors.

The International Federation of Business and Professional Women known as BPW International develops the professional, business and leadership potential of women on all levels through advocacy, mentoring, networking, skill building and economic empowerment programs and projects around the world. BPW was founded in1930 andisrepresentedinover98countriesacross5continentswithGeneralConsultative Status at ECOSOC/United Nations. Belmont BEC is a non-profit community organisation providing training and mentoring support services to individuals to start or improve their small business and is a specialist in virtual business incubation. TCF Global is a non-profit community organisation assisting designers and fashion industry with business skills development, linkages in the global supply chain, trade and industry networks, coordinates community village sewing projects and facilitates the International Fashion Incubator Network.

BPW Business Incubator Project is supported by BPW International, Belmont Business Enterprise Centre Inc (BEC), TCF Global, BPW Western Australia, sponsors, supporters and volunteers. BPW Business Incubator Training & Mentoring Project supports earthquake affected women in Nepal to start their small business in partnership with Beyond Beijing Committee, Nepal (BBC).

Beyond Beijing Committee, Nepal (BBC) is the only National Network organisation having over 180 organizational members from throughout the country advocating at all levels – village, national, South Asia, Asia Pacific to global – for the implementation of Beijing Declaration and platform of action (BPFA) continuously since 1995. It is working in 12 critical areas of concerns of which Women and Poverty is one.

After earthquake, BBC initiated a project named as “Misa Pasa Falcha meaning Women Friendly Space in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Kavrepalanchow district. In these spaces they have started income generation activities for earthquake affected women and also providing women seed money to start their own micro small business.
